晴れやか美術計画（略してHAP）は、例えていうならば
宗達の「俵屋」、夢二の「港屋絵草紙店」のようなものである。 ——というか、そういういろんな人が依頼することができる「美術仕事」と「計画仕事」をなりわいとする
会社です。
もっと簡単にいうと「美術と計画のなんでも屋」なのです。
最も小さな美術仕事は、手ぬぐいの図案やマークの考案、グリーディングカードの制作といったところで、公園や広場や建築の全体もしくは部分を考えるのが最も大きな仕事でしょうか。
中くらいのところでは、カフェやバー等店舗の全体や一部、「壁」や「フスマ」や 「ついたて」や「置物」や「小屋」や「行灯」を考え、作ります。
ジャンルや素材や工法にはこだわることなく、物や空間を創り出していきますが、 作り出す空間や表現の「方向性」というのは当然あります。
それは例えば「軽快なこと」「風通しのよい事」——、 少々古い日本語ですが「かろみ」というコトバが好きです。 また、素材と手法に関して、ウソをつかないこと。 （何がどのように使われたかが明白であること。） その場にふさわしい事を提案する——などが大切にしていることです。
仕事の流れを説明しますと、まず私は依頼主の方に「会う」事を第一としています。
また、「現場を見る」ことも大事にしています。以下にまとめてみますと、

僕には職人とアーティストを区別する発想が無く、純粋芸術（？）とそれ以外を区別する思考回路もありません。 「デザイン」と「芸術」という二つのコトバも、あまり使用したくありません。 僕にとっては、「美術」というコトバ一つで充分です。
いろいろな所で、いろいろな人と出会い、ともに「美術」したい。ただそれだけなのです。 "HAP" is short for Hareyaka Art and Planning Co.,Ltd which is the name of this art studio. We aim to design and create artwork for each customer suiting its different purposes and situations. In other words, we are prepared to become involved in a variety of artwork.
Some of the smallest artwork we have created include patterns of towels, company logos and greeting cards. On the other hand, some of the biggest artwork we have created include cases such as designing one part or a whole of a park, open area, or a building. Also we have designed and created the interior of cafes, bars, and shops. Other artwork include designing a wall, "fusuma" a framed and papered sliding door, an ornament, etc.
We try to develop the image, method, and material in various ways within the process of creating an artwork; nevertheless we do have a concept. For example, the concept maybe factors such as "lively" or "spacious". Also we believe that the crucial factor is to make it clear of what material is used and how, and that it must be suitable for that particular situation and purpose.
The basic process that we usually go through is below:
I do not see a craftsman and an artist as a separate job, and I do not draw a line between pure art and everything else. Also I do not like to use the word 'pure or fine art' and 'design' as if they are something completely different. I believe that the word 'art' is enough to include everything.
I hope to meet various people at various places and create 'art' together. That is what I work for.

1. 依頼主に会い、現場を見る 2. 予算の提示を受けたり、説明を受ける 3. 考案する 4. 試作する 5. 3、4はくりかえし、確定できたら、見積もり、契約をする。 6. 制作する 7. 仕事料の支払いを受ける （大きな仕事は最初や途中でも支払いを受けなければならないこともあります。） |

1. Meet the client and examine the location. 2. Discuss the budget and develop an image 3. Produce some designs 4. Make a prototype or make the artwork experimentally 5. Repeat 3 and 4 until the final design is decided. Then estimate the expense and make a contract. 6. Produce the artwork 7. Receive the payment (When working on a large piece of artwork, in some cases we may ask the client to pay at the beginning or during the production stage) |
